An energy-saving bean sprout machine, comprising a bean sprout drum (1) and an automatic sprinkling device (2). The bean sprout drum (1) comprises a germination drum (3), a bean sprout rack (4) and a drum cover (5). The automatic sprinkling device (2) comprises a movable connector (6), an electromagnetic valve (7), spray heads (8) and a mechanical timer (9). The movable connector (6) is connected to a water inlet of the electromagnetic valve (7), a water outlet of the electromagnetic valve (7) is connected to the spray heads (8) via a pipe (10), and the spray heads (8) are located within the germination drum (3). The mechanical timer (9) comprises a mechanical clock (11) and a switch device (12), and a moving contact (14) is provided on an hour hand (13) of the mechanical clock (11). The switch device (12) comprises a switch disc (15), a spring (16) and a plurality of sets of static contacts (17), and the switch disc (15) is located opposite the hour hand (13). When in operation, the moving contact (14) and the static contacts (17) of the mechanical timer (9) are used to control a power source of the electromagnetic valve (7), thereby controlling sprinkling by the spray heads (8). The bean sprout machine saves energy, reduces manufacturing costs and usage costs, and reduces the occurrence of malfunctions.
