The invention discloses a method and a system for optimizing the inner loop power control of a terminal. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a current inner loop power control error point, and judging whether the error point is located in a preset range near a power amplifier (PA) switching point or not; if so, determining whether the current relative value increases or decreases or not, wherein the relative value is a change value of actual power when the inner loop power control is 1dB; if the current relative value increases or decreases, carrying out temperature compensation, and setting the current temperature compensation value as a best temperature compensation value matched with the current temperature when the current powder of the current error point meets a preset requirement of the inner loop power control; if current relative value does not increases or decreases, carrying out switching point compensation on the PA switching point, and setting the current switching point compensation value as a best switching point compensation value matched with the PA switching point when the current powder of the current error point meets the preset requirement of the inner loop power control. The method and the system can optimize the indexes of the inner loop power control in a targeted way, and determine a compensation value of the inner loop power control of the terminal, thus enabling the terminal to accurately perform the inner loop power control and improving the service quality of the terminal.
