The present invention provides an excitation power synchronization signal collection and processing method and apparatus. The method comprises the steps of collecting a synchronization voltage signal and a generator PT signal simultaneously; determining phase sequences, frequencies and phase values of the synchronization voltage signal and the generator PT signal according to the synchronization voltage signal and the generator PT signal; and determining an excitation power synchronization signal reference source according to the phase sequences, frequencies and phase values of the synchronization voltage signal and the generator PT signal. Through adoption of the method and apparatus, redundant intelligence of a synchronization signal of rectification of the controllable silicon rectification bridge is realized, the fault tolerance rate is higher, and related running accidents of the excitation system and the generator caused by synchronization loop sampling abnormality are reduced.
