The invention discloses a water inflow prevention device of a GIS (geographic information system) horizontal insulation disc. The device comprises two structurally-identical semi-hollow circular table which are in butt joint to a form a hollow circular platform. The semi-hollow circular table comprises an upper fixing plate and a lower fixing plate which are semicircular, the upper fixing plate and the lower fixing plate are connected through a rain cover, and the radius of the upper fixing plate is smaller than that of the lower fixing plate; both ends of the upper fixing plate and the lower fixing plate are provided with clamping mechanisms. The water inflow prevention device is simple in structure, low in cost and easy to install, normal use of internal equipment is effectively prevented in rainy days when the horizontal insulation disc runs in severe outdoor conditions for a long time, and normal use of whole combined electrical appliances and reliable operation of transformers are ensured.
