The ethylene propylene rubber insulation wet-type submarine cable comprises a power cable, wherein the power cable is covered with a protective layer; the power cable comprises a conductor, a waterproof layer, a conductor shielding layer, an insulating layer, an insulation shielding layer and a metal shielding layer in sequence from inside to outside; the insulating layer is made from an ethylene propylene rubber insulating layer; and the metal shielding layer is made from a tinned copper tape metal shielding layer. According to the ethylene propylene rubber insulation wet-type submarine cable provided by the invention, ethylene propylene rubber insulation is used for replacing crosslinked polyethylene insulation, a tinned copper tape is used for replacing a lead sheath, and meanwhile a high-density polyethylene outer sheath is omitted, so that the production steps are saved, the production raw materials are saved, and the production cost is reduced.
