The method comprises the steps that the refrigerator is controlled to enter a synchronous refrigeration state, wherein the synchronous refrigeration state is set to include the condition that a refrigeration system is started, a draught fan is started, a refrigerating air door is started, and a freezing air door is started; the temperature Tf of a freezing chamber and the temperature Tr of a refrigerating chamber are collected in real time, and whether the temperature Tf corresponds to a freezing fourth preset temperature interval or not and whether the temperature Tr corresponds to a refrigerating fourth preset temperature interval or not are sequentially judged; and when the temperature Tf corresponds to the freezing fourth preset temperature interval and the temperature Tr does not correspond to the refrigerating fourth preset temperature interval, the refrigerator is controlled to enter a pre-cooling state, wherein the pre-cooling state is set to include the condition that the refrigeration system is shut down, the draught fan is started, the refrigerating air door is started, and the freezing air door is shut down. According to the air-cooled refrigerator and the operational control method thereof, residual cool of an evaporator is fully utilized for carrying out temperature control of the refrigerating chamber, the energy utilization rate is increased, and meanwhile the defrosting and humidity increasing effects are achieved.
