The invention discloses a preparation process for a light conductive metal composite material and application. Firstly, atomized copper powder, zirconium powder, niobium powder, silicon dioxide, potassium borate, nanosized titania and molybdenum disulfide are subjected to grinding and evenly blending, wet ball grinding and vacuum drying to obtain the vacuum drying mixture; then, after polypropylene resin, isopropenyl acetate and disteaxyl thiodipropionate are subjected to ultrasonic oscillation, the vacuum-dried mixture is added to be subjected to the ultrasonic oscillation again, and 4-chlorobutyraldehyde diethyl acetal, polyarylsulfone, melamine cyanurate and pyridoxine hydrochloride which are subjected to stirring treatment are added to be mixed; and finally, cold pressing molding and vacuum sintering are conducted to obtain a finished product. The prepared light conductive metal composite material is high in electrical conductivity, low in density, excellent in tensile performance and capable of meeting industry requirements and has good application prospects. Meanwhile, the specific application range of the production process is also disclosed.
