The invention discloses inorganic nanoparticel hybridized phenolic resin adhesive and a preparation method thereof, relates to a high temperature resistant phenolic resin adhesive and a preparation method thereof and solves the problem that existing modified phenolic resin is low in work temperature and poor in adhesive performance. The inorganic nanoparticle hybridized phenolic resin adhesive is prepared from the raw materials in parts by weight: 100 parts of thermosetting nitrile phenolic resin, 5 to 10 parts of nanoparticle and 1 to 5 parts of coupling agent, wherein the nanoparticle is silicon dioxide, silicon carbide, metallic oxide powder or metal powder, and the thermosetting nitrile phenolic resin is prepared from thermosetting phenolic resin and 4-nitrophthalonitrile through chemical reaction. According to the phenolic resin adhesive disclosed by the invention, shearing strength in room temperature can be about 10MPa, and 350 DEG C shearing strength can be about 7MPa; thus, the phenolic resin adhesive has good temperature resistance and toughness.
