The invention discloses noise-reduction aramid fiber honeycomb and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: fetching 30 parts by weight of melamine resin, adding 1-2 parts by weight of an emulsifier, 2-4 parts of a foaming agent and 1-2 parts of a catalyst, uniformly stirring at room temperature to obtain a melamine foam glue solution; obtaining the melamine foam glue solution into a impregnating vessel, completely impregnating aramid fiber honeycomb into the glue solution, overturning and carrying out impregnation; foaming and solidifying the impregnated aramid fiber honeycomb; and slicing the foamed aramid fiber honeycomb so as to obtain the noise-reduction aramid fiber honeycomb. Average sound absorption coefficient of the noise-reduction aramid fiber honeycomb at 100-1600 Hz is greater than 0.3. In addition, the invention has advantages of simple process, low cost, less equipment investment, etc.
