The invention discloses a brushless x-by-wire three-gear automatic transmission of an electric vehicle. An input gear is mounted on an input shaft and constantly meshed with a first-gear input gear and a second-gear input gear; and gear shift control of the brushless x-by-wire three-gear automatic transmission of the electric vehicle is realized by controlling engaging and disengaging of a first-gear brushless x-by-wire friction and meshing transmission engaging device, a second-gear brushless x-by-wire centrifugal ball arm engaging device and a third-gear brushless x-by-wire centrifugal ball arm engaging device. The brushless x-by-wire three-gear automatic transmission has the advantages of being large in transmitted torque, high in rotating speed, free of impact during engaging, smooth in gear shift, low in operation energy consumption and the like.
