The invention provides energy-storage lead-acid storage battery lead paste and a preparation method and relates to the technical field of lead-acid storage batteries. Anode lead paste is prepared from 5.96-6.5% of diluted sulfuric acid, 10.39-10.5% of deionized water, 0.09-0.12% of colloidal graphite, 6.5-7% of red lead, 0.07-0.1% of polyester staple fiber and the balance of lead powder, and cathode lead paste is prepared from 5.43-6% of diluted sulfuric acid, 10.4-10.5% of deionized water, 0.45-0.55% of barium sulfate, 0.2-0.25% of humic acid, 0.1-0.15% of sodium lignosulfonate, 0.8-1% of graphite, 0.8-1% of activated carbon, 0.07-0.1% of polyester staple fiber and the balance of lead powder. The preparation method is reasonably improved in the aspects of operation step and process parameter. The lead-acid storage batteries prepared from the lead paste prepared by the method have quite long recycling life at normal temperature and high temperature, and both over-discharging resistance and charging receptivity are improved substantially.
