The invention discloses an incoming material detection device for lithium battery production, which is characterized by comprising a scanning device for scanning the barcode of a lithium battery, a coding tray for placing the lithium battery after scanning, a barcode scanner for scanning the barcode of the coding tray, a formation device for testing voltage capacity and internal resistance of the lithium battery in the coding tray, and a control device connected with the scanning device, the barcode scanner and the formation device respectively. The control device is a PLC. The incoming material detection efficiency is high, and the lithium battery quality reliability can also be ensured.
