The invention belongs to the technical field of edible fungi or recycling of waste mushroom bran after edible fungus cultivation and discloses needle mushroom feed capable of improving chicken quality and a preparation method and application thereof. The needle mushroom feed for chickens comprises maize, bean pulp, needle mushroom fermentation mushroom bran, fish meal, vegetable oil, calcium hydrophosphate, mountain flour, lysine, methionine, salt, complex cellulose, tealeaf residues, mulberry pomace, fresh ginger powder, clove powder and a premix, wherein the premix contains manganese, zinc, copper, iron, iodine, vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B12, vitamin D3, vitamin E1, vitamin K3, D-calcium pantothenate, niacin, choline, folic acid, pyridoxine hydrochloride and biotin. The preparation method includes pouring the raw materials into a feed stirrer sequentially, adding water into the feed stirrer with stirring, using a puffed pellet feed machine for puffing pelleting, performing microwave drying and sterilization, and conducting vacuum packaging so as to obtain the needle mushroom feed capable of improving the chicken quality.
