The invention relates to the electrical equipment field, especially to a switch cabinet and a cabinet body. The switch cabinet comprises a switch chamber, a cable chamber, and a mechanism chamber arranged at the front side of the switch chamber. An inlet-outlet line structure is arranged at the side wall of the switch chamber; the cable chamber is arranged at the rear side, left side, or right side of the switch chamber; and the inlet-outlet line structure is arranged at the upper side of the side wall of the switch chamber. Compared with the existing switch cabinet, the provided switch cabinet has the following beneficial effects: the cable installation height is high and the height of the switch cabinet is low; and a problem of inconvenient cable installation and usage due to the low cable chamber installation position of the existing switch cabinet can be solved while the height of the switch cabinet is reduced to the greatest extent.
