The invention belongs to the electric power monitoring field and relates to a ring network cabinet environment monitoring system. The system is characterized by through monitoring a phase current of a ring network cabinet, a cable tapping point temperature, a fastening casing pipe temperature and an environment humiture, transmitting to a controller and comparing with a set standard value so as to determine whether there is an abnormality; if there is the abnormality, controlling a corresponding switch and cutting off an interval of a ring network cabinet, wherein the interval generates a fault; through monitoring an equipment wire clamp temperature of a column switch, a parallel groove clamp temperature, an isolation disconnecting link temperature and a phase current, comparing to a standard value so as to determine whether the column switch in the ring network cabinet is abnormal; and through monitoring a cable tapping point temperature of an overhead cable and a current value of the overhead cable, determining whether a cable tapping point of the overhead cable is abnormal. In the invention, an abnormality which may be generated during equipment operation can be timely captured so that early stage anticipation and processing to an electrical equipment fault are realized.
