The invention provides a dynamic route planning method based on SDN. The method includes the following steps: an ODL controller dynamically acquiring network link state information, generating a network topology structure; acquiring the network flow information of an OpenFlow switch; conducting fine grit analysis on the network flow information, computing port throughput capacity and link utilization rate; planning feasible routes for flow forwarding in combination with the network link state information; and based on the flow tracking algorithm DHT, real-time adjusting route planning. The method addresses low utilization rate or traffic jam of transmission channels, increases the reliability of data transmission, and greatly increases the properties of the network.
