The invention discloses a method for improving the hydrolysis rate of nutgall. In order to overcome the defects that according to an existing method for producing gallic acid through hydrolysis of nutgall, the hydrolysis rate is low, the hydrolysis time is long, energy consumption of production is high, and the gallic acid product has floccules and is poor in ethyl alcohol dissolution clarity, the amount of added sodium hydroxide is reduced to 20%, the hydrolysis temperature is increased to 120 DEG C, and hydrolysis pressure is improved to 0.1 MPa. The method is used for producing gallic acid through hydrolysis of nutgall and can make the hydrolysis rate of nutgall improved to 95%-98% from existing 80%-85%. Moreover, the hydrolysis time is short, energy consumption of production is low, and the ethyl alcohol dissolution clarity of the gallic acid product is good.
