The invention relates to a method of relieving coking of a volatile component channel, in particular to a method of treating coking of a volatile component concentration channel in a pot furnace for anodes, cathodes, electrodes and carbon graphitic materials for producing aluminum in the carbon industry. The method includes the steps of guiding the compressed air from a front wall to a back wall, distributing compressed air to the volatile component concentration channel by common steel pipes while using a valve to control the compressed air throughput. By using the method, the volatile component temperature can be controlled from the source, the probability of volatile component coking can be reduced, the efficiency of labor can be greatly improved and the labor intensity of workers can be reduced.
