The invention relates to a polypropylene aluminum plated film special-purpose material and a preparation method thereof. According to the preparation method, polymerization technological conditions are not changed, a special-purpose composite nucleating agent is added to produce the novel aluminum plated film special-purpose material; the special-purpose composite nucleating agent is composed of a sorbitol compound, a phosphate, a rosin compound, and a carboxylate nucleating agent; adding amount of the special-purpose composite nucleating agent is controlled to be 0.01 to 0.05%. The preparation method is low in cost; and is convenient in processing. The melt flow rate of the polypropylene aluminum plated film special-purpose material ranges from (8.0+-1.5)g/10min, crystallinity degree is 49% or higher, thermal deformation temperature is equals to or larger than 100 DEG C, bending modulus is 1500MPa or larger. The special-purpose composite nucleating agent is capable of increasing thermal deformation temperature and mechanical properties of polypropylene, and obtained products can be applied to the field of aluminum plated film special-purpose material.
