The invention relates to a cross-shaped water dirt remover. The cross-shaped water dirt remover is characterized in that the cross-shaped water dirt remover comprises a dirt removing shell composed of a water inlet cylinder and a water outlet cylinder; the water outlet cylinder is arranged in the water inlet cylinder; the water outlet cylinder is internally tangent with the water inlet cylinder in a wall sharing mode; a cavity is formed between the water outlet cylinder and the water inlet cylinder; the water inlet cylinder communicates with a water inlet, and the water outlet cylinder communicates with a water outlet; water filter elements are arranged in the water outlet cylinder and are three grating cone barrels; and the lower end of each grating cone barrel is provided with a barrel water inlet, filter nets are arranged on the inner sides of the periphery and the top of each grating cone barrel, and the upper end of each grating cone barrel is smaller than the lower end of the grating cone barrel in diameter. As shown on the cross section, the three grating cone barrels are three internally tangent circles which are internally tangent with the water outlet cylinder. A cylinder lid is arranged at the top of the water outlet cylinder. A drain outlet is formed in the bottom of the water outlet cylinder. The longitudinal direction of the water filter elements and the axis of the water inlet and the water outlet are crossed. According to the cross-shaped water dirt remover, the water filter effective area is increased, the water resistance is low, and the size is small, so that installation is facilitated; and back flushing drainage can be adopted for removing dirt.
