The invention provides an image synthesizing method and a device. The method comprises steps of acquiring a first image and a second image; decomposing the first image into a first illumination image and a first reflection image; according to the first illumination image, converting the second image into an image under an illumination condition of the first image; and synthesizing the converted second image into the first image. According to the invention, two image obtained under different illumination conditions can be synthesized together, and the synthesized image produces a natural effect.
