The invention provides a precharging control method and device for a charging pile. The precharging control method comprises the steps that after it is detected that a charging contactor of a vehicle to be charged is switched off, the output voltage of the charging pile is regulated firstly, and when the output voltage of the charging pile is approximate to the current voltage of a power battery of the vehicle to be charged, an output contactor of the charging pile is switched off. According to the method, before the output contactor of the charging pile is switched off, the power battery of the vehicle to be charged and a line of the charging pile can not form a loop, and therefore currents supplied by the power battery of the vehicle to be charged can not flow back to a charging module; when the output contactor of the charging pile is switched off, the voltages of the two ends of the charging pile are approximate, therefore, large impact currents can not be formed, and then the safety problems existing in charging starting can be solved.
