The device comprises a power supply circuit, an H-bridge driving circuit coupled to an external motor and a switching circuit configured to control the H-bridge driving circuit; the power supply circuit is coupled to the H-bridge driving circuit; the switching circuit is coupled between the power supply circuit and the H-bridge driving circuit; the switching circuit includes a knife switch K and a switch triode Q5; one end of the knife switch K is coupled to a 5V power supply, and the other end of the knife switch K is coupled to the collector electrode of the switch triode Q5; the base electrode of the switch triode Q5 is coupled to a detection circuit and then is coupled to an external motor; and an emission electrode is coupled to the node formed between the control end of an IGBT tube Q1 and the control end of an IGBT tube Q4. Through arrangement of the switching circuit and the detection circuit, the motor control device can effectively shut down the motor when the seizing current of the motor is too big so as to effectively avoid the problem that the motor is seized up and buried.
