The invention provides a method for automatically checking a safety and stability control strategy based on dynamic simulation of a whole process. The method comprises the following steps: extracting a characteristic device indicative of the operation mode of a power grid and a state of the characteristic device based on the topological constraint and the power flow constraint of a grid safety and stability control strategy, and automatically generating a characteristic device list; according to grid topology, basic power flow and dynamic component parameters, identifying the operation mode of the power grid and automatically matching the safety and stability control strategy corresponding to the current operation mode; automatically generating a preset fault set and achieving batch automatic checking of the safety and stability control strategy based on a whole-system dynamic simulation model. The method solves a defect that a power system safety and stability control strategy cannot accurately and efficiently complete the system automatic check and provides a powerful tool for the assessment and establishment of the power grid safety and stability control strategy.
