The invention provides a space-time adaptive signal block processing method, and aims at the block sparsity of radar receiving signals at the angle-Doppler plane. The method comprises the following steps that step 1, a snapshot data is received by radar at a nearby unit of a distance unit under test to act as the radar receiving signals; step 2, space-time adaptive signal preprocessing, including discretization at the angle-Doppler plane and construction of an overcomplete matrix, is performed on the radar receiving signals so that space-time adaptive signals are obtained; step three, block processing is performed on the space-time adaptive signals; and step 4, block sparse recovery is performed through a greedy algorithm under block sparsity so that the reconstructed signals are obtained and further performance analysis is performed. Block processing is performed on the space-time adaptive signals by using the block sparsity of clutters at the angle-Doppler plane, and distribution of the clusters at the angle-Doppler plane are more effectively and accurately recovered from observation signals by aiming at the internal structure of sparse signals so as to obtain the reconstructed signals.
