According to the high voltage relay, the nitrogen is filled into the arc extinguishing gap instead of compressed air, an explosion event caused by small-amount hydrogen in the compressed air and arcs can be prevented, and hidden safety trouble is reduced; the arc extinguishing gap is improved, an auxiliary arc extinguishing gap is further improved, magnetic quenching length is improved physically, an arc cooling speed is further accelerated, and arc extinguishing efficiency is improved.
