The invention relates to a method for detecting a cooling system parameter of a pulling tractor, in particular to the method for detecting the parameter of cooling performance in the cooling system of the pulling tractor under an operational condition of the simulated car. The parameter can be used to measure the temperature rising performance of the pulling motor. The method for detecting the cooling system parameter of the pulling tractor comprises the steps of carrying out joint adjustment test through a draught fan, a car body air flue, a soft air flue, and a traction motor, simulating the air supply ability of the draught fan under the operational conditions of the vehicles, calculating blast capacity by carrying out an air supply test on the traction motor through adopting a standard air flue, a draught fan which accords with the joint adjustment test, and the soft air flue, obtaining the temperature rise of the traction motor closest to the operational mode of the vehicles. The blast capacity obtained through the method is closer to the operational conditions of the vehicles. By carrying out the temperature rise tests on the traction motor through multiple groups of statistics of blast capacity, the temperature rise test is much closer to multiple kinds of operational conditions of the vehicles, and the multiple groups of statistics of temperature rise has more guiding significance on the operation of the vehicles.
