The invention relates to a power grid static stability situation quantitative evaluation method based on measurement information. The method comprises steps: all power generation nodes and load nodes in a large power grid are gathered together, the large power grid is further simply mapped to a virtual source grid load elastic branch, and according to WAMS (wide area measurement system) real-time power grid measurement data, the power grid mapping elastic potential energy is obtained through calculation; then, on the basis of the known power grid mapping elastic potential energy, an equivalent phase difference in a large power grid equivalent model is solved; and finally, based on the equivalent power grid generalized elastic coefficient criterion, whether the large power grid is in a static stability state is judged. The method of the invention can quickly and effectively realize quick evaluation on online static stability of the large power grid.
