The invention discloses a special air claw for heat transfer pipe plate climbing equipment of a steam generator. The special air claw comprises an outer air cylinder, an inner air cylinder and a tensioning device, wherein the tensioning device comprises a position rod and a slide block; the piston rod is fixedly connected with the upper end of a piston sleeve and is arranged on a guide rod in a sleeving way; the slide block is glidingly connected onto the piston rod in a direction inclined from the axial line of the piston rod; the slide block is embedded in the piston rod; the moving direction of the slide block is decomposed into a direction along the axial line of the piston rod and a direction vertical to the axial line of the piston rod; the slide block is supported open and is tightly attached to a heat transfer pipe, and then the tensioning device is fixedly connected with the heat transfer pipe. Compared with the petal type pipe wall tensioning mode, the slide block tensioning pipe wall mode has the advantages that the short stroke requirement is met, so that the application in the small size space is realized; the slide block uses an embedded installing mode; the occurrence of the condition that fractured petals and sliding rolling balls can easily fall into a water chamber of the steam generator is avoided; the air claw action failure caused by structure fracture or unsmooth movement cannot occur.
