The invention relates to a method for planting herbaceous plants in furrow-shaped out-soil in a saline and alkaline land. The method comprises the following steps: digging multiple furrows in parallel in the saline and alkaline land, and sequentially filling a pebble bed and an aeolian sand layer into each furrow; on the aeolian sand layer, placing two or more rows of support stone in parallel in a direction extending along with the furrows, and forming a planting area between every two adjacent rows of the support stone; mixing the aeolian sand with herbaceous plant seeds, and uniformly throwing the seeds into the planting areas; by taking the support stone as a support, covering the planting areas with plant fiber gridding cloth, wherein meshes through which plant seedlings penetrate are densely formed in the plant fiber gridding cloth; and placing a drip irrigation pipe above the plant fiber gridding cloth, and irrigating the planting areas at regular time. By adopting the method provided by the invention, technical difficulties in planting grass in the furrow-shaped out-soil in the saline and alkaline land can be solved, salt dust leaching and soil wind erosion can be prevented and treated, effective evaporation of a surface layer can be reduced, a soil environment can be improved, the seedling survival rate can be increased, and popularization values can be made.
