The invention provides a gradient distribution hard alloy. The Co content from surface to internal of the section of the gradient distribution hard alloy is changed from low to high; and the particle size of WC grains is changed from small to big. In the process of adopting a laser district fusion 3D direct printing method to prepare the hard alloy, hard alloy particles with different Co contents and/or WC grain sizes are paved on each layer; the method can prepare the hard alloy with lower Co content on the surface layer and gradient change of the Co content from low to high in the thickness direction, and/or the hard alloy with small WC grains on the surface layer and gradient change of the WC grains from small to big in the thickness direction, so that dual gradient distribution of WC particle size and CO content is realized, and the gradient distribution hard alloy is better in rupture toughness, wear resistance and hardness. The invention further provides a preparation method of the gradient hard alloy.
