The invention discloses a preparation method for synthesis of an aryl amide compound and a purification method. The preparation method comprises the following steps: various aryl iodides and alkyl primary amine, alkyl secondary amine or alkyl tertiary amine which are used as a substrate are heated in cyanobenzene used as a solvent under the catalysis of transition metal palladium salt and copper salt in carbon monoxide gas at atmospheric pressure to prepare a crude product; then, the crude product is filtered and the solvent is removed so as to obtain residue; the residue undergoes silica-gel column chromatography, elution is carried out by the use of an eluant, and an effluent is collected; the effluent containing the product is merged, the merged effluent is concentrated to remove a solvent; and finally, vacuum drying is performed to obtain a target product. The invention has advantages of simple process flow, low cost and high yield.
