The invention discloses a preparation method of nano ferrite. The preparation method comprises the following steps: carrying out a precipitation process to obtain a ferrite precursor, and carrying out high-temperature calcination forming by using agricultural waste, wood dust or sawdust as a precursor carrier, thereby obtaining the nano ferrite. The preparation method of nano ferrite overcomes some defects in the existing nano ferrite preparation technique, for example, nonuniform phase state, poor chemical uniformity, uncontrollable particle size and the like caused by pH condition differences when different elements precipitate in the water solution. The prepared nano ferrite has the advantages of high porosity, large specific area and high catalytic activity.
