The invention belongs to the technical field of epoxy glass fiber vacuum pressure impregnated tubes and discloses a pouring technology for an epoxy resin basin-type insulator. The process comprises the following steps: (1) an adding mode of a curing agent: directly adding a normal temperature curing agent into a final mixing tank, and adjusting the temperature of a mixed material in the final finishing tank by mixing and cooling the mixed material of the normal temperature curing agent and a high temperature resin, wherein the gelation times at different temperatures are different; and (2) selection of usable time and gelation time of the mixed material: detecting the change of viscosity of the mixed material in the step (1) at different temperatures, and selecting the initial curing temperature which enables the time to be at 120-160min. By mastering and regulating kernel parameters, the usable time and the curing degree of the epoxy resin are held; the whole curing process is in an effective control range by adjusting the process parameters in epoxy resin pouring and curing processes, so that the stability of a product curing process is guaranteed, and the performance reliability of the insulator is further guaranteed.
