The battery protection integrated circuit includes a storage section that stores characteristic data for setting circuit characteristics of the battery protection integrated circuit and characteristic adjustment data for adjusting an individual difference of the circuit characteristic of the battery protection integrated circuit, wherein the storage unit has at least two of the bits of the two data for mutually storing one bit of a non-volatile pair of memory cells and a group of volatile memory circuits connected to an output of said pair of memory cells by cross-coupling; a memory circuit statically outputs data of the two data quantities stored in the storage unit as the voltage rises at the time of power-on of the battery protection integrated circuit.
