Belonging to the technical field of composite materials, the invention relates to a pultruded basalt fiber reinforced thermosetting resin composite material and a preparation method thereof. Basalt fiber is distributed in a thermosetting resin matrix, and the composite material is prepared from the following raw materials by weight: 50-80 parts of thermosetting resin, 20-60 parts of basalt fiber, 2-5 parts of an initiator, 1-3 parts of a colorant, 1-3 parts of a mould release agent, and 4-8 parts of filler. The preparation method comprises the steps of: preparatory work, yarn feeding, compounding, mould preheating, pultrusion, and cutting forming. The composite material prepared by the method provided by the invention has the characteristics of high efficiency and stable quality, and is especially suitable for mass production. The basalt fiber reinforced thermosetting resin serving as a bracket is corrosion resistant, has excellent flame retardance and fire resistance, and at the same time can effectively improve the mechanical strength of the molded body.
