A worm cam indexing mechanism includes a worm cam and a roller disc; the worm cam includes a worm and a cam fixed on the worm, a groove channel is formed in the outer side of the cam, and the groove channel is spiral; a plurality of rollers are arranged on the roller disc, the plurality of rollers are distributed in the circumference direction of the roller disc at intervals, and the rollers move in the groove channel; and the groove channel, from one end to the other end, successively includes an engaging-in section, a first stop section, a sine accelerated movement section, a constant speed movement section, a sine speed reduction movement section, a second stop section and an engaging-out section. The worm cam indexing mechanism can improve the movement performance of a mechanism, and can avoid caused interference when the rollers engage-in/out of the groove channel.
