A water supply step (S1) for supplying water to a liquid-fuel channel of a nozzle is executed during a liquid fuel supply state (Mo) in which only liquid fuel is supplied to the nozzle, a post-switch water-purging step (S3) for supplying water to the liquid-fuel channel of the nozzle is executed during a gas fuel supply state (Mg) in which only gas fuel is supplied to the nozzle, and a mid-switch water-purging step (S2) for supplying water to the liquid-fuel channel of the nozzle is executed during a fuel switching state (Mc) which is a state of transitioning from the liquid fuel supply state (Mo) to the gas fuel supply state (Mg). A second flow rate (w2) of water supplied in the mid-switch water-purging step (S2) is less than a first flow rate (w1) of water supplied in the water supply step (S1). In the post-switch water-purging step (S3), water is temporarily supplied at a third flow rate (w3) which is greater than the second flow rate (w2).
