The invention relates to an automatic transmission starting and stop control system which comprises a transmission, a mechanical pump, a torque converter shell, an electronic pump and a hydraulic system, wherein an oil duct and a plurality of through holes are formed in the shell of the transmission; a plurality of through holes communicating with the oil duct and the through holes in the shell of the transmission are formed in the torque converter shell; the shell of the transmission is fixedly connected with the mechanical pump; the electronic pump is fixed on the torque converter shell; and the mechanical pump and the electronic pump can control the oil pressure of the hydraulic system to drive the transmission to start and stop. The automatic transmission starting and stop control system is simple in structure and can effectively lower the part cost and processing difficulty of the automatic transmission.
