The invention discloses a rapid abnormity detecting method of a GIS device. The method includes the steps of obtaining a discharge amount daily average value of the GIS device, selecting the accumulation day number n and calculating the accumulated discharge amount x of the GIS device in n days, calculating an accumulated discharge amount threshold m in the n days according to a preset daily discharge amount threshold m1, and judging whether abnormity happens to the GIS device when the accumulated discharge amount x in the n days is larger than or equal to m. By means of the method, the problem of GIS rapid abnormity detecting is solved, the abnormal local discharge phenomenon in the GIS can be accurately found in time, the judgment result is accurate and timely, misinformation caused by external interference is effectively avoided, and the accuracy of abnormity detecting is achieved by means of the method.
