The invention discloses a key loading method for resisting a template attack in a security chip. The method comprises the steps of defining a key data conversion rule, wherein key data is converted via the rule, the converted key data has a characteristic that all bytes are different from one another, and subsequent storage and transmission of the key data are implemented on the converted data; during storage of the key, storing the converted key with the length of n bytes into a real key address according to bytes, and storing other non-key data with the length of 256-n bytes into a confusion key address; and when the key is read from a key area for transmission, reading all data of the key area according to bytes in a random manner, transmitting the key bytes of the real key address to a correct target address, and transmitting the non-key data of the confusion key address to an irrelevant target address. The method of the invention has higher security, and even the template attack can perfectly parse the data transmitted by the chip, any key information is still very difficult to acquire.
