The invention relates to a triangular polyester filament yarn which comprises a polyester filament yarn body. The polyester filament yarn body consists of a plurality of polyester monofilaments. Each monofilament sequentially consists of a first breathable layer, a polyester layer, a second breathable layer and a meshy layer from inside to outside. The cross sections of the polyester monofilaments are triangular. The triangular polyester filament yarn has the advantages that the triangular polyester filament yarn is not only breathable, can also prevent drapes and is comfortable, and clothes made of the triangular polyester filament yarn are wearable, comfortable and good in air breathability.
