The invention relates to serum miRNA markers for measuring a chicken sexual maturity starting time and a preparation method of marker-containing serum. The marker is any one or any combinations of gga-miR-29c-3p, ggamiR-217-5p, gga-miR-375, gga-miR-215-5p, gga-miR-19b-3p, gga-miR-133a-3p and gga-let-7a-5p. By extracting chicken serum small RNA and by detecting the expression law of the miRNA markers in a sexual maturity progress by virtue of a qRT-PCR technology, seven specific cyclic miRNA markers, which are capable of accurately measuring the chicken sexual maturity starting time, are identified; therefore, a more accurate measuring standard for conducting chicken sexual maturity starting mechanism researches and the breeding of a novel chicken line (variety) of sexual precocity is provided.
