The invention relates to a waste gas treatment apparatus for purifying outdoor air. The waste gas treatment apparatus comprises a first filter apparatus, a plasma generator, a second filter apparatus and an electric air blower, which are successively arranged along an air flowing direction; an electromagnetic valve is arranged between the plasma generator and the second filter apparatus; the first filter apparatus is a particle filter net; the second filter apparatus is successively provided with active carbon and a ceramic filter net along the air flowing direction; and a heating apparatus is also arranged outside the second filter apparatus, the heating apparatus is connected with a solar cell module by virtue of an electric wire, and the solar cell module mainly comprises a black silicon solar cell and a storage battery. The waste gas treatment apparatus is greatly reduced in maintenance cost and great in application prospect.
