The invention discloses a base station, a receiving method and an integrated circuit. The terminal apparatus includes: a transmission unit which transmits control information to a terminal, the control information being intended for determining the corresponding relationship between each layer number among a plurality of layer numbers and one orthogonal sequence among a plurality of orthogonal sequences; a receiving unit which receives the corresponding relationship determined by the control information and using the signal generated by the orthogonal sequence of each layer number, the signal being transmitted from the terminal; a plurality of layer numbers including a first layer, a second layer, a third layer and a fourth layer, the first layer and the second layer corresponding to the same orthogonal sequence, the third layer and the fourth layer corresponding to the orthogonal sequence which is the same as or different from the same orthogonal sequency.
