The invention discloses an improved guitar fingerboard. The improved guitar fingerboard comprises a guitar fingerboard main body, the upper end of which is provided with a plurality of through grooves arranged at intervals along a width direction. The through grooves are disposed under a central line between two strings, and the cross section of every through groove is in the shape of a semicircle, and the diameter of the semicircle is 3mm. When fingernails of a guitar player are long, the fingernails are prevented from abutting against the fingerboard, and a playing effect of pressing the strings freely is guaranteed.
