The invention discloses a method for reducing content of gold and silver in smelting slag generated in a copper anode slime Kaldo furnace treatment process, and the method is suitable for the copper anode slime Kaldo furnace treatment process, and is especially suitable for opening intermediate materials selenium and tellurium to realize reducing content of gold and silver in the smelting slag by virtue of means of reducing content of selenium-rich and tellurium-rich materials returned into the furnace. The method comprises the following operation steps: firstly, crushing refined slag until 200-mesh slag accounts for 80% or more, and enabling the slag and Venturi mud to leach out tellurium by use of sodium hydroxide; acidifying leaching liquor by use of sulfuric acid until pH value of the leaching liquor is 5.5-6, thereby obtaining tellurium dioxide for sale, taking precipitated liquor as washing liquor and returning the precipitated liquor into a Kaldo furnace Venturi washing system; and finally, sulfating leach residues, silver and selenium residues and secondary crude selenium for steaming selenium, returning the obtained selenium steaming residues into a Kaldo furnace, and introducing selenium soot into the Kaldo furnace Venturi washing system for extracting selenium. The method reduces the content of gold and silver in the smelting slag while effectively increasing a direct recovery rate of gold, silver, selenium and tellurium in the whole process, so that operation efficiency and working efficiency of the Kaldo furnace are improved, and energy consumption caused by material returning is reduced.
