The invention provides a cutting method of a reverse osmosis filter element. The cutting method comprises the step that a round blade is adopted to cut the reverse osmosis filter element, specifically, the periphery of the cutting edge of the round blade is round. By the adoption of the cutting method, the problem that in the prior art, when the reverse osmosis filter element is cut, too much scraps are generated, and accordingly the reverse osmosis filter element is blocked is solved.
