The present invention discloses a signal amplifier and a signal amplification method for measuring space charges through an electroacoustic impulse method. The signal amplifier comprises a piezoelectric sensor, a piezoelectric sensor static state capacitor and an amplifier input impedance. The signal amplifier and the signal amplification method obtain filtering output signals through an amplification circuit with the low-input impedance based on a data recovery principle and process filtering output signals through a deconvolution technology so as to obtain original input signals for calculation of the distribution of the space charges. The signal amplifier and the signal amplification method greatly reduce the application cost of the technology for measuring space charges through the electroacoustic impulse method so as to allow the technology to have a real popularization and application value.
