The invention discloses an intercalated hydrotalcite based composite material with lignosulfonic acid radicals, a method for preparing the intercalated hydrotalcite based composite material and application thereof, and belongs to the field of hydrotalcite based composite materials, methods for preparing the same and application of the hydrotalcite based composite materials. By the aid of the intercalated hydrotalcite based composite material, the method and the application, the problem of long preparation cycles of adsorbents of existing hydrotalcite when the existing hydrotalcite is used for treating phenol can be solved. The lignosulfonic acid radicals are intercalated and assembled between layers of nickel aluminum hydrotalcite to obtain the intercalated hydrotalcite based composite material with the lignosulfonic acid radicals. The method includes preparing mixed salt solution with Ni<2+> and Al<3+> and adding sodium lignosulphonate into NaOH solution to obtain mixed alkali solution; simultaneously dropping the mixed salt solution and the mixed alkali solution into a three-mouth bottle, continuing to carry out reaction for a period of time after the mixed salt solution and the mixed alkali solution are completely dropped, then carrying out microwave crystallization and then carrying out filtering, washing, drying and calcining to obtain the intercalated hydrotalcite based composite material with the lignosulfonic acid radicals. The intercalated hydrotalcite based composite material, the method and the application have the advantage that the intercalated hydrotalcite based composite material can be used as an adsorbent for treating phenol sewage.
